Another not so concept-ish concept work... this time is the rebel soldiers in different uniforms. From the left to right are the Marine (Grunt), Medic, Scout (Sniper) and Engineer. Each holding a different weapon:
Marine - P45G Gauss Rifle
Medic - M8 Sidearm
Scout - G69M Recoilless Anti-matter Rifle
Engineer - HG75R5 Hand Held Guidance Missile Launcher
Sketches and explanation of the guns are explained in here:
[Spec.] Role - General Purpose / Infantry Features - Sustain Kit, Rehab Tool (For Medic), Work Pack (Engineer), Mini Cam (Scout) Armaments - Standard Issue P45G Gauss Rifle, M8 Sidearm, G6 Frag Grenade, Additional Add-ons (G69M Recoilless Anti-matter Rifle or HG75R5 Hand Held Guidance Missile Launcher)
Overview
Highly adaptive, versatile and expandable with their low cost, the infantry squads are the backbone of the Rebel, serving as first and last line of defense in all fields. Their equipments grants them effective countermeasure against almost any threat, however they suffer from lack of armor and can be quickly pinned down or supressed under heavy enemy fire. Infantry squads often work well with other unit types, which is exactly what most commanders do in the field.
Consisting of usually 5-7 members, the Grunts are trained militia from masses of men and women in general Asia and Eastern region. Coming from all sorts of races, culture, religion backgrounds. (However mostly from Middle East region or Rural Asia Lands) The 7 Day War forced them to break away their boundaries and work together as one in order to hope driving their enemies away. Lack of training and high tech equipments to use, they mostly need to rely on their fearlessness and high spirit to win the battles.
Armaments
Most Rebel infantry weapons are designed to be low cost, durable, easy maintainance, simple but effective products. However they often suffer from being user unfriendly, low accuracy and low ammo capacity (compare to First Country Union weapons). This makes the Rebel rely on numbers to hope increasing overall accuracy and kill rate in battles.
After the Military Revolution, masses of equipments from previous age (late 20th century/ early 21th cen) became obsolete and outdated, leading them to be drifted to underground or black market in exceptional large numbers. Ironically most of them are picked up by the Rebel who now use former First Country equipments against the First Countries themselves.
Rebel equipment designs therefore are mostly enhanced, altered or re-outfit from these existing structures in order to simply improve their capabilities.
