Strange monster designs I did when I was in the painful lessons in uni.
It's basically a floating whale like creature constantly bleeding its evaporating blood. The blood bleeds to the ground through its frontal peak and its eye nearby, or evaporates and turns into red cloud to hide itself. The blood acts as a sensory organ and weapon that detects and evaporates any living beings within its vicinity when drips onto the ground. The lifeforce of the victims turns into smoke, runs into air and goes to the monster itself. This way, it's constantly hurting but also regaining life at the same time. |
