Animlea Scene 05a concept

It's been a great havoc for me recently, and it's gonna get worse soon. I just moved back to New Zealand and started my new job.

This is basically a design on the human side in Animalea.

The long war has been costly and draining for both the Animalea and Human sides, both on countless lives and resources. The extensive is so great that it actually causes decline in both wealth and technology, forcing them so abandon or limit the new high tech to mass produce the low tech but reliable hardwares.

Mech power suits and nano tech armor that were once eagerly tested and mass produced are now only for the elites. To the government, throwing big money to protect lives of their soldiers is not as important as it used to be. As the situation is getting tighter everyday, the only important thing now is the effect, result, and the possibility to finally out last your opponent in this long war.


> Suit

Soldier's suit now consists of partial carbon fibre platings (instead of full body multi layer nano plating powered by mech), mostly covering the upper body. Kinetic shield generators (green light) are planted in chest and shoulder parts to offer moderate protection against impact based attacks. Overall, the suit is simple, cheap and relatively effective.

There are also small kinetic generators in the hands part, working as both a close range weapon and small power shield. Usually soldiers don't carry sidearms, simply because there's no time to use them when enemies are getting close (a punch would work much quicker, although usually there's a large chance that a soldier will die if Animalea enemies gets that close).


> Weapons

IO5 Plasma Rifle / Flame Thrower

This is a light weighted mid range plasma rifle that is durable, simple and reliable. The rifle is designed to spray pockets of plasma shots to counter Animalea solders' unnatural speed, quickly creating a small area of kill zone once firing. It also features a flame thrower using the same plasma energy that can be an effective weapon is Animalea soldiers gets too close.


Type 8 Automatic Shotgun / Shield

This fires high power kinetic shots that's devastating at close range but is highly inaccurate to long range targets, working much like a shotgun. A single shot can effectively penetrate an Animalea soldier's shield head on and causing mortal wound. The shotgun is outfitted with a strong kinetic shield that can be very useful in close range combat.


PV16 Heavy Support - Sniper / Heavy Machine Gun

This basically feed of high power rounds that can easily take down any Animalea soldier with single shot. In single burst mode, the user can work with its scope and make it a good sniper rifle; while in burst mode this can be a fearsome rapid fire weapon. The only problem is its size and weight, making it ill suited to manuever against fast moving Animalea soldiers, making this only suitable as a support weapon.
